When I first started working for myself after many years in government and the private sector, I made a vow. A vow that I would never subject anyone to the kind of workplace training that made you feel like you were being punished. Where you didn’t know why you were being punished, but you knew you must have done something bad to warrant this monotone-death-by-powerpoint torture that they were calling “training”. (Sheesh, that’s a little intense. Clearly I’m still working through some stuff.)

The point is, at Head Strong we do things differently. As a psychologist, I understand (mostly) how the human brain works and I use that to create learning experiences for adult brains. I work with you to make sure the content is relevant to your employees and resonates with them and their day-to-day reality. I make sure there are plenty of engaging activities that are interesting and fun but never threatening. And I create opportunities for genuine connection to build healthier and more supportive teams.
